I feel like this is a line me and my bestie use ALL THE TIME!!!!!
We have been on so many amazing adventures together and especially this year have found ourselves reminiscing over some of our favourite places we have visted in Victoria.
So now that Victorian's are FINALLY allowed to leave home even if you can't leave the state here are our top places to go visit if you are keen on an adventure.
Warburton Red Wood Forrest - This is honestly the most magical place. Think of an enormous enchanted forrest that has massive nests with eggs, red fairy toadstools, rows upon rows of tall red woods to run between. This is a must if you have little kids
Philip Island - If you haven't visited Philip Island make sure you put it on your list.. if you are prepared to do a bit of exploring you can find the SS Speke Shipwreck from 1906, whales migrating, walabies that love to take selfies, beaches that have emus strolling along them at sunrise and so much more. And it's under 2 hours away from Melbourne.
Erskine Falls - We have visted SOOOO many waterfalls throughout our adventures but this still stands as one of my favourite. The best time is to go not long after it has rained as this is when the waterfall will be at its best!
Noojee Railway Trail - the trail itself isn't all that much, but the old railway bridge is a stunner, and perfect for anyone that is wanting to get into some landscape photography. You also have the Ampithetre Falls, Toorongo Falls and the old steam train close by... The steam train is pretty amazing and if you or your kids loved Thomas the Tank Engine or the Hogwards express go check this out.
Bunny Rock at Montforts Beach - Mornington Peninsula. Minus the fact it is an incredible beach, it makes for the most amazing landscape photos and seriously looks like a bunny!
So there you have it, if you are stuck for somewhere to go to one weekend I highly recommend going and checking these places out!
