I love to read, and so often don't have the time to. But I have recently started swapping the phrase "I don't have time" with "It's not a priority" and its amazing how hard that hits you.
So I am making reading a priority again and these are the books that I currently have on my reading list:
Think Like a Monk by Jay Shetty - Out of all the books on my list I am probably most excited to be reading Jay's book. I recently listened to him speak on a Goop podcast and fell in love with his way of looking at the world
The Two Lost Mountains by Matthew Reilly - Anyone who knows me, knows that I love anything that Matthew Reilly writes so I am extremely excited to be sinking my teeth into his latest work!
Becoming by Michelle Obama - Michelle Obama has this boldness but gracefulness about her that I can't help but find everything she talks about inspiring
A Life On Our Planet by David Attenborough - If there is one person on this planet that has gained the respect of the world for his views it is Sir David Attenborough.
Women Don't Owe You Pretty by Florence Given - I've been recommended this read by quite a few friends now so am looking forward to seeing what it has to offer.
My amazing bestie made a goal this year to read 50 novels and she smashed it!
So I figure if she can read 50 novels in just 12 months, then surely I can make the effort to pick up a novel and get reading again.
What is everyone reading at the moment?
